The City is replacing a broken storm drain pipe on Middlefield Road at Oregon Expressway as part of the ongoing storm drain system replacement project. Road users should expect a partial lane closure on Middlefield Road turning left, going eastbound on Oregon Expressway towards Highway 101. The contractor expects work to conclude by Friday, August 30. Construction will occur Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Construction will pause on Wednesday, August 14 and Thursday, August 15 for the start of the school year. The City's contractor will set up traffic control signage detouring bicycles and pedestrians away from the project site and route them to the crosswalk at Oregon Expressway.
