Lockport man arrested for sex crimes against children and numerus...

On November 7, 2024, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation stationed at SP Lockport arrested Nathaniel D. Devries, 46 of Lockport, NY for Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child (D Felony) and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child (E Felony), Criminal Possession of a Firearm -2 counts and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree -5 counts.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Lockport executed a search warrant with the assistance from the Department of Homeland Security, Troop A Computer Crimes Unit and NYSP Special Investigations Unit at a Beattie Ave apartment in city of Lockport as result of an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation in the city of Lockport. Investigation determined Devries possessed child pornography and was disseminating child pornography. Devries was in possession of a loaded Glock 9mm pistol, Taurus .375 Magnum revolver and multiple loaded magazines containing 15-30 rounds. Devries does not have a New York State Pistol permit.

Devries was transported to Lockport Police Department for arraignment.

The Niagara County District Attorney's Office assisted in this investigation.

The mission of the ICAC Task Force is to identify individuals online who are attempting to lure children to meet for sex or those disseminating child sexual abuse material. The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program (ICAC program) helps state and local law enforcement agencies develop an effective response to technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and Internet crimes against children.
