GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Marine Corps Warfighting Publication (MCWP) 6-10,
Leading Marines, was approved on 13 August 2024. This publication
supersedes MCWP 6-10, Leading Marines, dated 1 August 2014, erratum
dated 2 May 2016, change 1 dated 4 April 2018, and erratum dated 23
January 2019. It describes the Marine Corps' leadership philosophy
in consonance with its rich and storied past. MCWP 6-10 speaks about
those timeless attributes that form the Corps' soul and emphasizes
the core values, leadership traits, and leadership principles. This
publication describes the leadership philosophy that distinguishes
the US Marine Corps. It is not meant to be a "how to" guide on
leadership, but provides broad guidance in the form of concepts and
values and is meant to be read from cover to cover.//
