Scituate Barracks

At 9:30 AM, Troopers arrested Sara Couto, age 49 of 34 Heroux Avenue, Woonsocket, Rhode Island for, 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Diamond Hill Road in the City of Woonsocket. The subject was transported to Headquarters where she was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute- Women's Intake Center.

At 1:42 PM, Troopers arrested Orlando Goris, age 39, of 802 Plainfield Street # 1, Providence, Rhode Island for 1) Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Shoplifting and Conspiracy out of the North Providence Police Department and 2) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation on the original charge of Shoplifting out of the Johnston Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Atwells Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the North Providence Police Department.
