Board of Supervisors Canvass Pinal County 2024 General Election

At Wednesday's Board of Supervisors Meeting, the Board approved the 2024 General Election Canvass, congratulating Recorder Dana Lewis and the Elections Department on a successful Election.

Recorder Lewis gave an extensive presentation, detailing data from the election which showed that of 282,639 registered voters, there were 211,595 ballots cast. 166,026 of these were Early Voting, 44,338 votes were cast on Election Day, while 1,231 were Provisional ballots. Overall voter turnout was 74.86%, which was identical to the 2020 General Election. However, that 74.86% represented 186,319 voters in 2020, showing the significant growth in the County's population over the past four years.
