Public Meeting Scheduled for Property Sale in Newton

The City Council of Newton, Iowa will hold a public meeting on January 20, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Newton City Hall, 101 West 4th Street South, to discuss selling the property at 1111 West 22nd Street South and an additional parcel (ID 0832477011).

If you're interested in buying the property, you must submit an offer by 10:00 a.m. on January 8, 2025, to the Newton Community Development Department. Offers must include plans to build a new single-family home that meets the Fountain Hills Estates guidelines. Proposals without plans for a new home will not be considered.
