Attack in Jaffa

The Brazilian government condemns the terrorist attack claimed by Hamas in Jaffa, Israel, yesterday, October 1st, which caused the death of 7 people and injured 16 others.

While expressing its rejection of violence, especially against civilians, Brazil extends its condolences to the victims' families and its solidarity with the Israeli people.

Furthermore, it reaffirms its belief in the necessity of a comprehensive ceasefire throughout the Middle East in order to halt the worrying escalation of tensions observed in recent days.
