Driver Killed In Tuesday Afternoon's Crash On Whites Creek Pike

The 46-year-old driver of a BMW 28I sedan involved in today's 2:20 p.m. crash on Whites Creek Pike near Jackman Road has died. The driver was traveling northbound when, for reasons unknown, he left the roadway, drove into a ditch, and struck a utility pole.

He was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died. Efforts are underway to notify his family.

He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. There were no signs of impairment at the scene.
