On July 12, 2024, State Police arrested Juan N. Fuente Ramirez, 30, of Albany, NY, for two counts of Grand Larceny in the fourth degree and Identity Theft in the second degree.

On June 24, 2024, at about 2:53 p.m., Troopers received a complaint from a Clifton Park Business. In June 2024, Fuente Ramirez allegedly purchased merchandise from the business and provided credit card information for payment. The investigation determined that Fuente Ramirez did not have authorization to use the credit card, and his action resulted in the theft of more than $1,000.

Further investigation discovered also in June 2024, Fuente Ramirez reportedly made multiple additional purchases from the same business at its Glens Falls, NY, location. The credit card information he provided for payment was also found to have been used fraudulently and without authorization. Fuente Ramirez's actions on that date allegedly resulted in the additional theft of more than $1,000.

Fuente Ramirez surrendered himself to SP Clifton Park, was arrested and processed for the Clifton Park incident, and was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Halfmoon Town Court on July 31, 2024. Fuente Ramirez was then transported to SP Queensbury, where he was arrested and processed for the Glens Falls incident. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Glens Falls City Court on August 6, 2024, and released.
