ITS Conduit Repair Planned on I-95 North in Northeast Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) conduit repair will occur next week on northbound Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Wednesday, September 4, through Friday, September 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, a right lane closure will be in place on northbound I-95 approaching the Cottman Avenue exit.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
