Show Your Skills during theme weeks!

News -4.10.2024

How can skills be enhanced at any age? Come and see how lifelong learning, skills, science, and art are promoted in Vantaa. Events and programs are available for everyone.

The Aina oppiva Vantaa network organizes events around Vantaa and online from October 14-27, 2024, with the theme "Show your Skills!." Admission to the events is free unless otherwise stated.

"Show your Skills" is an initiative by the Aina oppiva Vantaa network, where network members organize events around Vantaa in the fall.

Lifelong learning is an essential part of the City of Vantaa's operations and development goals. The members of the Aina oppiva Vantaa network involved in organizing the events include the Science Centre Heureka, Careeria, the Aviation Museum, Vantaan järjestörinki ry, and the Vantaa Society.

The "Show your skills" weeks are part of Vantaa's work within the UNESCO Learning Cities network. The network shares knowledge, skills, and experiences in developing lifelong learning. It includes 255 cities worldwide. The work is framed by the UN's Agenda 2030 goals. Vantaa is committed to three clusters: Education for Sustainable Development, Health and Well-being, and Equity and Inclusion in Education.
