US-45 culvert replacement in Ontonagon County set to begin Oct. 7

ONTONAGON, Mich. - Contractors for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be partially replacing a culvert on US-45 north of Bestard Road in Ontonagon Township, Ontonagon County, requiring lane closures beginning Oct. 7. The project is expected to be completed by Oct. 11.

Motorists should expect one lane of alternating traffic open on US-45 via temporary traffic signals.

This project will help ensure continued safe and reliable operation of the roadway.
