The launch will take place in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual) on Monday, October 21 at 10:00 a.m. Washington D.C. time, 11:00 a.m. Santiago, Chile time.
WHAT: Six years from the deadline set to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) will present a joint report titled The urgency of investing in health systems in Latin America and the Caribbean to reduce inequality and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
This is the third publication prepared by both United Nations (UN) agencies, following the reports from 2020 and 2021 that focused on analyzing the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The one-hour event will feature presentations by the highest representatives of ECLAC and PAHO, as well as comments from regional authorities.
