US 10/WIS 114 Proposed Improvements in Calumet County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region is developing plans for proposed improvements on four miles of US 10/WIS 114 in Calumet County. The project is located from the US 10/WIS 114 intersection in the city of Menasha to County N in the village of Harrison, Calumet County, Wisconsin.

WisDOT has created a new US 10/WIS 114 website to review proposed improvements and provide comment.

US 10/WIS 114 design website URL:

The existing concrete pavement, asphalt shoulders, guardrails, culverts, and pavement at the County N Park & Ride are all experiencing deteriorating conditions. Curb ramps do not meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, posing an injury risk to pedestrians using canes, wheelchairs, walkers, and other equipment to assist pedestrians.

This is a resurfacing-level improvement with numerous upgrades to deteriorating culverts, guardrail, and curb ramps. Construction is currently scheduled for 2028 but could be advanced to 2026. The roadway will remain open during work except for a five-day closure and detour while paving the Oneida Street intersection.

Project maps, curb ramp exhibits, and location displays are available for public view on the website. The public is encouraged to review the proposed improvements and provide input. The website provides three methods for comment: Email, phone, and comment form with a prepaid mailer available for download.
