FRA outlines its work at international antiracism conferences
FRA presented its work during two international antiracism conferences in Germany.
It drew from its 'Being Black in the EU' and 'Racism in Policing' reports, and its work on equality data.
FRA participated in the anniversary European Coalition of Cities against Racism (ECCAR) General Conference 2024. It took place from 23 to 25 September in Heidelberg under the motto 'Don't Let Europe Go Backwards'.
The conference assessed the role of municipalities in combating racism, fostering diversity, and ensuring equal opportunities at the local level.
FRA then attended the international NaDiRa Conference 'Equality in Action: Advancing Social Justice through Data' on 27 September in Berlin.
The German national Racism and Discrimination Monitor, and the DeZim Institute organised the event.
