McConnell Statement on the Passing of David Hocker

LOUISVILLE, KY - U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) issued the following statement today regarding the passing of David Hocker:

"Western Kentucky has lost a true business titan with the passing of David Hocker. It's difficult to imagine what Owensboro would be like today without the impact of David's visionary leadership and decades of investment in the community. What began as a small venture in the City of Owensboro grew over time into a nationwide retail empire, creating good-paying jobs, strengthening communities, and touching the lives of thousands of Kentuckians. Elaine and I join our home state in mourning the loss of a great man and dear friend whose legacy will forever be embedded in the fabric of Owensboro."
