Fort Edward man charged with felony in domestic incident

INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested Craig M. Olden, age 43, of the Town of Fort Edward on charges as they relate to a domestic dispute between Olden and a female who he is familiar with.

On July 9th, 2024 Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to 3 Parry Street in the Town of Fort Edward for a reported domestic dispute. It was determined after an investigation that Craig M. Olden attempted to intentionally start a fire within the residence. Five other individuals were present in the residence at the time, including three children under the age of seventeen. No injuries occurred to anyone involved.

Olden was arraigned at Centralized Arraignment and remanded to the Washington County Jail.
