(OCTO­BER2, 2024) - North­west Flori­da Beach­es Inter­na­tion­al Air­port (ECP) announces new non­stop dai­ly ser­vice with Delta Air Lines between ECPand Austin-Bergstrom Inter­na­tion­al Air­port (AUS) with Delta Air Lines. This new route, set to begin oper­a­tions in March 2025, will pro­vide trav­el­ers with more options and fur­ther enhance the con­nec­tiv­i­ty of our region.

"This announce­ment marks anoth­er mile­stone for ECPas we con­tin­ue to expand our offer­ings and improve acces­si­bil­i­ty for our trav­el­ers," said Park­er W. McClel­lan, Exec­u­tive Direc­tor of ECP. ​"We are proud to part­ner with Delta and con­fi­dent that this ser­vice will be anoth­er pop­u­lar choice for both local res­i­dents and visitors."

The intro­duc­tion of this new ser­vice comes as ECPantic­i­pates anoth­er record-break­ing year. ​"We wel­comed more pas­sen­gers this past June than any oth­er month in the his­to­ry of the Air­port, McClel­lan not­ed. ​"In 2023, we served over 1.6mil­lion pas­sen­gers, and we expect to see approx­i­mate­ly 1.9mil­lion pas­sen­gers trav­el through our Air­port this year."

While this is Delta's inau­gur­al ser­vice between ECPand AUS, it is not the first time North­west Flori­da Beach­es Inter­na­tion­al Air­port has offered a non­stop con­nec­tion to Austin. The return of this non­stop route under­scores the con­tin­ued grow­ing demand for expand­ed air ser­vice in the region. With Delta's exten­sive net­work, pas­sen­gers fly­ing from ECPwill now have even greater access to des­ti­na­tions in the U.S. and beyond.

The flight between AUSand ECPwill oper­ate dai­ly by Delta Con­nec­tion car­ri­er Sky­West on an Embraer ERJ-175equipped with First Class, Delta Com­fort+ and Main Cab­in. Flights arrive at ECPat 4:28p.m. and depart for AUSat 5:10p.m. Tick­ets for the new non­stop ser­vice are avail­able now, with flights com­menc­ing on Sun­day, March 9, 2025, just in time for the busy spring trav­el season.
