Uniontown, PA - Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that moving single-lane restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 70, from New Stanton in Westmoreland County to the Ohio state line in Washington County, and on I-79, from the Allegheny County line in Washington County to the West Virginia state line Greene County.

Work will occur overnights (8:00 PM-6:00 AM) and weekdays only beginning Monday, September 16 until early October. All work depends on weather and operations.

Crews from Greene Acres Contracting will install new raised pavement markers (RPM) and delineators on roadway edge lines, skip lines, and ramps - an infrastructure safety improvement of $526K.

Motorists should use caution and be aware of changing traffic patterns when driving through these areas.
