EMCOR Services Provides HVAC Union Information Session and Training at Rancho San Pedro Public Housing Community

November 20th, 2024 - EMCOR Services (Mesa Energy Systems) held an HVAC Informational Session and Training for HACLA's public housing residents. Led by James Kish and others from EMCOR and Joint Journeymen and Apprentice Training Center (JJATC), the event introduced participants to an HVAC Career.

The session was part of HACLA's Section 3 program to offer other economic opportunities to Section 3 workers when hiring is not feasible. EMCOR provided the residents with beneficial information and resources for joining the JJATC.

Attendees were highly engaged with the material, asking questions about the qualification and testing process. It was wonderful to see their interest and active participation! We hope many will follow through and join JJATC.

Thanks to partners like EMCOR, HACLA is able to bring these resources to our public housing communities and provide them information and tools in support of their job training, employment and educational goals.
