St. Louis Work Zones November 21-27

ST.LOUIS - Illinois drivers who use westbound I-64 to cross the Mississippi River (at the Poplar Street Bridge) and go south on westbound I-44 or southbound I-55 will need to allow extra time and use an alternate route next weekend as crews will close a ramp from the bridge.

Crews will close both lanes on the ramp from the westbound I-64 bridge across the Mississippi River (the Poplar Street Bridge) to westbound I-44 and southbound I-55 starting Friday, November 22 at 9 p.m. All lanes on the ramp will reopen Monday, November 25 by 5 a.m.

In addition, as a reminder all lanes of eastbound I-44 (heading north into downtown city of St. Louis by the Arch) between the Poplar Street Bridge and Walnut Street will be closed Saturday, November 23 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Detours for both closures will be marked.

  • I-55, St. Louis City, two northbound lanes closed from north of Bayless to Virginia through the end of 2024.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from northbound to Loughborough and the Loughborough on-ramp to northbound I-55 will be closed through 2024.
