Seychelles defence chief meets SL Defence Secretary

Chief of the Seychelles People's Defence Force, Brigadier Michael Rosette met Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne at the Defence Ministry in Sri Jayawardenepura, Kotte today (Jul 16).

Gen. Gunaratne accorded a warm welcome to Brig. Rosette on his arrival at the Defence Ministry this afternoon.

During the cordial discussion, both defence officials exchanged views on the existing ties and ways to enhance defence cooperation between the two countries. Consequently, they exchanged mementos to mark the occasion.

Deputy Military Liaison Officer of the Ministry of Defence Brigadier Nadeeka Kulasekara was also present at the occasion.

Brig. Rosette arrived on the island on an official visit on Sunday (Jul 14).
