Two for Uno at the International Guernsey Show

MADISON, WIS. - Springhill Kojack Uno-ETV, the winning Six-Year-Old & Older Cow, is the Grand Champion and Senior Champion of the International Guernsey Show at World Dairy Expo, for the second year in a row. She received the Allen Hetts Grand Champion Trophy and the $1,000 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Award. Uno is owned by Melander, Robthom, and Smith-Crest of Watertown, Wis. The Reserve Grand Champion is the Intermediate Champion, Prairie Gem Jd Lincoln-ETV, owned by Glamourview Farms of Walkersville, Md. Lincoln is the winning Senior Two-Year-Old Cow.

Following Uno as Reserve Senior Champion is Knapps Digligle Qualitys Queenie, owned by Lauren Nelson and Richard Giddings of Brandon, Vt. Reserve Intermediate Champion honors went to the winning Summer Junior Two-Year-Old, Knapps Apie Tesla-ETV, owned by Emmett Vannoy, Tre Wright, and Katie Oesterritter of Eminence, Ky.

Gold N Pines Jd Butterbraid-ETV, the winning Spring Yearling Heifer, took home Junior Champion honors in the International Guernsey Show. She won the Norman E. Magnussen Memorial Award and was exhibited by Suzanne Benoit, Michael Maier, and Jesse and Kylie Muse of Stitizer, Wis. Following in her footsteps as the Reserve Junior Champion of the International Guernsey Show was Four Winds Vg Channelcharisma-ETV, owned by Valley Gem and Four Winds of Cumberland, Wis. Channelcharisma was the winning Fall Heifer Calf.

Claiming Premier Breeder, Premier Exhibitor, and Premier Exhibitor of the Heifer Show is Springhill, of Big Prairie, Ohio. The Premier Breeder of the Heifer Show is Gold N Pines - Kayleigh and Kelsey Haag and Gold Rush Guernseys, of Dane, Wis. Premier Sire was Indian Acres American Pie, and Premier Sire of the Heifer Show is Springhill James Dean-ETV.

Official judge, Lynn Harbaugh of Marion, Wis., and associate judge, Herby Lutz of Chester, S.C., evaluated the 211 entries.
