Lincoln Woods Barracks

On Friday August 23 at 9:00 AM, Troopers arrested Angel Maldonado, age 37, of 279 Webster Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for Simple Assault. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a disturbance on Route 195, in the City of Providence. Maldonado was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.

On Friday August 23 at 11:45 AM, Troopers arrested Jonah Bason, age 24, of 39 Cleveland Street, Apartment #4, North Providence, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the original charge of Willful Trespass, originating out of the North Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Virginia Lane, in the City of Providence. Bason was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the North Providence Police Department.

On Friday August 23 at 12:42 AM, Troopers arrested Dean Zigbuo, age 41, of 158 Sabin Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor - First Offense BAC .15 or Greater (Phase 1 - .174 % BAC, Phase II - .165% BAC). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Broadway, in the City of Providence. Zigbuo was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Saturday August 24, at 1:14 AM, Troopers arrested Michael Ortiz, age 19, of 369 Cahill Street Providence Rhode Island, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Embezzlement and Fraudulent Conversion originating out of the Warwick Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195 East in the City of Providence. Ortiz was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.

On Saturday August 24, at 1:38 AM, Troopers arrested Luis Penafiel Rojas, age 29, of 482 Coggeshall Street, Apartment 3, Fall River, Massachusetts, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor - First Offense BAC .10-.15 (Phase 1 - .157 % BAC, Phase II - .147% BAC). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Ave, in the City of Providence. Rojas was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Saturday August 24, at 2:03 AM, Troopers arrested Bruno Mendes, age 31, of 143 Greeley Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs BAC Unknown- 2ND and Subsequent Offense, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test- 2ND Offense, and 3.) Operating a Motor Vehicle While License is Suspended- Certain Violations. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Cedar Street, in the City of Pawtucket. Mendes was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment/presentment as a bail violator.
