Death Investigation at 1879 Dorchester Avenue

At about 9:59 PM, on Friday, August 23, 2024, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to 1879 Dorchester Ave for a report of a person stabbed. On arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported by Boston EMS to a local hospital where he was pronounced.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
