Stanislaus County

Closures on State Routes 99, 120, 132, And Interstate 5

Stanislaus County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various ramp and lane closures next week on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 120 (SR-120), State Route 132 (SR-132), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 99

  • Overnight, full closure of the offramp to Mitchell Road from northbound SR-99 in Ceres for bridge work beginning Tuesday, October 15 through Friday, October 18, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Full closure of the onramp to northbound SR-99 from Kansas Avenue in Modesto for drainage work on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
  • Overnight, full closure of the offramp to Tuolumne Boulevard from northbound SR-99 in Modesto for bridge work beginning Tuesday, October 15 through Friday, October 18, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

State Route 120

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control between Stearns Road and Dillwood Road in Oakdale for drainage work beginning Monday, October 14 through Friday, October 18, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 132

  • Overnight, alternating lane closures between the Tuolumne River near La Grange and Quartz Ledge Creek bridge for bridge work beginning Tuesday, October 15 through Friday, October 18, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, one-way traffic control between La Grange Dam Road and Quartz Ledge Creek bridge for bridge work beginning Friday, October 18 through Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

Interstate 5

  • Full, long-term closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 for construction work.
  • Note: This project is expected to continue through the fall of 2025.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
