Closures on State Routes 99, 120, 132, And Interstate 5
Stanislaus County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various ramp and lane closures next week on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 120 (SR-120), State Route 132 (SR-132), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 99

Overnight, full closure of the offramp to Mitchell Road from northbound SR-99 in Ceres for bridge work beginning Tuesday, October 15 through Friday, October 18, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Full closure of the onramp to northbound SR-99 from Kansas Avenue in Modesto for drainage work on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Overnight, full closure of the offramp to Tuolumne Boulevard from northbound SR-99 in Modesto for bridge work beginning Tuesday, October 15 through Friday, October 18, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
State Route 120

Overnight, one-way traffic control between Stearns Road and Dillwood Road in Oakdale for drainage work beginning Monday, October 14 through Friday, October 18, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
State Route 132

Overnight, alternating lane closures between the Tuolumne River near La Grange and Quartz Ledge Creek bridge for bridge work beginning Tuesday, October 15 through Friday, October 18, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

Overnight, one-way traffic control between La Grange Dam Road and Quartz Ledge Creek bridge for bridge work beginning Friday, October 18 through Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
Interstate 5

Full, long-term closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 for construction work.

Note: This project is expected to continue through the fall of 2025.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
