Adopt a Storm Drain Today

Help Middleton Weather the Storm!

Hey Middleton! Have you noticed our streets taking on more water than usual? With all this rain and piles of autumn leaves, our storm drains are feeling a bit overwhelmed. Adopting a storm drain in your neighborhood can help keep Middleton clean and dry.

Why adopt a storm drain, you ask? Think of it as adopting a pet but with less kibble and more curb appeal! By giving your storm drain a little TLC-clearing away leaves, debris, and trash-you'll be helping prevent localized flooding and keeping pollutants out of our waterways. Plus, there's a certain pride in knowing you're the unofficial caretaker of your block's very own drain.

Mayor Emily Kuhn encourages everyone to get involved: "When it rains, it drains-so let's help our drains do their job! Adopting a storm drain is one of the simplest ways to protect our neighborhoods from flooding while caring for our lakes and rivers. It's a small act with a big impact."

So roll up your sleeves, grab a rake, and adopt a storm drain! You'll be doing your part to keep Middleton clean and green.
