Cole Votes to Condemn Vice President Kamala Harris’ Failures as “Border Czar”

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) released the following statement after voting in favor of House Resolution 1371, which condemns the job that Vice President Kamala Harris has done as our nation's "border czar:"

"Over the past three and a half years, a national security crisis has been created due to massive surges of illegal immigrants swarming our border. In fact, since the Biden administration took office, there have been over 9.9 million illegal immigrant encounters nationwide, including hundreds of individuals whose names appear on the terrorist watchlist," said Congressman Cole. "The record-breaking numbers make it clear - the Biden administration's "border czar," Vice President Harris, has failed to secure the United States border. House Resolution 1371 will bring to light the missteps of this administration's open-border policies and condemns these policies for putting American lives at risk."
