Participation of the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan in the 31st OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum

The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan, led by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ismatullo Nasredin, is taking part in the 31st Economic and Environmental Forum of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), which is being held on September 12-13, 2024 in Prague, Czech Republic.

This event is devoted to the consideration of topical issues in the field of climate change and provides an opportunity for delegations of the participating countries to exchange views on this subject.

During his speech, Ismatullo Nasredin, in the context of addressing climate change issues, presented the initiatives of the Government of the Tajikistan on the water and climate agenda, in particular, the proclamation of 2025 as the "International Year of Glaciers' Preservation" and March21 as "World Day for Glaciers".
