Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

On September 12, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for Humanitarian, Cultural and Social Affairs/OIC Special Envoy for Afghanistan Ambassador Tariq Ali Bakheet.

At the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, as well as prospects for joint actions.

It is worth noting that on 12-13 September 2024 a joint International Conference of the Republic of Tajikistan and the OIC on "The Role of Tajik Scholars and Intellectuals in the Development of Islamic Culture and Civilization" is being held in Dushanbe.
