City of Sparks Announces Road Closures for Star Spangled Sparks Event

Sparks, Nv (July 1, 2024) - The Nugget Casino Resort will hold its annual Star-Spangled Sparks Fireworks show and festivities on Thursday, July 4, 2024, from 4 to 10 p.m. in Victorian Square.
The free event will feature food vendors, crafts, fireworks, and more. Fireworks are scheduled to launch at approximately 9:30 p.m., wind, and weather permitting.
The City of Sparks will have the following road closures in place beginning July 4 at 12:15 a.m. through July 6 at 6:00 a.m.
- Victorian Ave. from Pyramid Way to 14thStreet (Victorian Plaza Circle East)
- Ave of the Oaks between 12th Street and 13thStreet (in front of the theater)
- 10thStreet from the alley to Victorian
- Victorian Plaza Circle (east) from Ave of the Oaks to Nugget Ave.
Free parking is available in the City of Sparks parking garage next to the Galaxy Theatre, accessible from Avenue of the Oaks or Victorian Plaza Circle.
The Nugget Casino Resort is also providing a free park & ride shuttle service beginning at 6 p.m.

- Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center - 1350 Wells Avenue, Reno
- Greenbrae Shopping Center - 510 Greenbrae Drive, Sparks
Drop-off location:
- RTC Centennial Plaza Downtown Sparks - 1421 Victorian Ave., Sparks
Rideshare Drop Off & Pick Up:
- 13th Street between Avenue of the Oaks and Victorian Plaza Circle.

Please Note: Pets, barbecues, tents, and glass bottles are not permitted on Victorian Square during special events.
