Nine Completes 100th Refrac Liner Installation

Nine Energy Service partnered with NewGen Systems Ltd. to complete the 100th installation of its refrac liner, a significant milestone within the industry's expanding refrac applications.

"We take great pride in our team's ability to execute these installations and provide an avenue for our customers to regain previously stranded reserves," Nine Completion Tool President Nick Pottmeyer said.

Through collaboration with NewGen Systems Ltd., Nine's refrac liner systems allow operators to efficiently restimulate their wells with a single reduction in liner size-resulting in increased stimulation rates. The advanced completion tool anchors and centralizes the liner top in the well while reducing harmonics, erosion, and vibrations.
