Route 2003 Hoenig Road Slide Repair Starts Wednesday in Economy

Pittsburgh, PA - PennDOT is announcing slide repair work on Route 2003 (Hoenig Road) in Economy Borough, Beaver County will begin Wednesday, October 16 weather permitting.

Slide repair work requiring the around-the-clock closure of a portion of Hoenig Road between Edgewood Road and Cooney Hollow Road will occur from 7 a.m. Wednesday continuously through mid-November as crews from JET Excavating conduct slide repair. Traffic will be detoured.

North of the Closure

  • From Hoenig Road, turn onto Cooney Hollow Road

  • Cooney Hollow Road becomes Campbell Road

  • Turn right onto Amsler Ridge Road

  • Turn right onto Big Sewickley Creek Road

  • Follow Big Sewickley Creek Road back to Hoenig Road

  • End detour

South of the Closure

  • Same detour in the opposite direction
