Event Notice: Emergency Preparedness Expo

As partners in Emergency Management Oceanside, we are excited to invite you to the free Emergency Preparedness Expo on Saturday, September 7 at the Civic Centre in Qualicum Beach from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This family-friendly event includes drop-in workshops, emergency preparedness prizes and information about:

• personal preparedness
• FireSmart
• earthquake simulator
• food security
• age and health factors for preparedness

There is also a short film documentary, Tsunami 11th Relative, a history of West Coast tsunamis from an Indigenous perspective and more.

The RDN is proud to partner with Emergency Management Oceanside, the City of Parksville and the Town of Qualicum Beach.
