The City of Vista is thrilled to invite you to our inaugural Cyclovia event, a vibrant celebration of community, health, and sustainability! For the first time ever, we're transforming historic downtown Vista into a car-free zone, giving you and your family the perfect opportunity to explore the heart of our city on bikes, foot, or any other self-powered mode of transportation.

What is Cyclovia?
Cyclovia, meaning "Cycleway" in Spanish, is an exciting global movement that reclaims city streets for people instead of cars. By temporarily closing streets to automobile traffic, Cyclovia events create safe, open spaces for cyclists, pedestrians, and families to enjoy their city in a whole new way. Local cities like Encinitas, San Diego, and Chula Vista have hosted these events, and now it's Vista's turn to shine!

What to Expect at Cyclovia Vista

• Free Bike Safety Class: Join us at the AVO Playhouse for a crash course in bike safety.
• Bike Rodeo: Kids can show off their skills in a bike rodeo organized by the San Diego County Bike Coalition.
• Bike Valet: Park your bike securely and explore the event worry-free.
• Scavenger Hunt: Support local businesses while participating in a fun, interactive scavenger hunt.
• Educational Vendors: Learn about sustainability from local experts and discover how you can contribute to a cleaner, greener Vista.
