Media Advisory: Collection of Media Accreditation Tags for Opening of Parliament Address

Parliament, Monday, 15 July 2024 - Parliament has finalised the list of accredited media representatives who will cover the Opening of Parliament Address (OPA) scheduled for Thursday, 18 July at Cape Town City Hall.

The approved list of media representatives accredited to cover the OPA is now published on the Parliament website. Please find the list on the following link: https://tinyurl.com/mvy7a9bu

Only applicants whose names appear on the approved accreditation list may collect their accreditation tags. Accreditation tags can only be collected from the Government Garage situated in 49 Hope Street in Cape Town from 15 until 18 July 2024.

The operating times are as follows:
Monday , 15 July 2024: 08:00 -18:00
Tuesday, 16 July 2024: 08:00 - 18:00
Wednesday, 17 July 2024: 08:00 - 20:00
Thursday, 18 July 2024: 07:30 - 13:00

NB: Media personnel are encouraged to collect their accreditation tags early to avoid long queues on the eve, or the day of the Opening of Parliament Address.
