Road Closings for Grand Illumination

The Grand Illumination, hosted by Troy Main Street, will take place in downtown Troy on November 29. Carriage rides and entertainment will start at 5:00 p.m. and the tree lighting will take place at approximately 7:00 p.m.

The following street closures will be in place to accommodate this event on Friday, November 29:

• The Southwest Quadrant of the Public Square will be closed from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• From 4:00 p.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m., the following closures will be in place:
  • The entire Public Square will be closed.
  • Main Street will be closed from Cherry to Mulberry Street.
  • Market Street will be closed from Water Street to Franklin Street.
  • Walnut Street will be closed from the northernmost public parking lot entrance to Water Street. The public parking lot will be accessible.
• South Cherry Street will be briefly closed from Franklin to West Main Street to accommodate Santa's arrival, from approximately 6:30 to 7:00 p.m.
