UW and Wyoming APEX Accelerator to Host Sources Sought Opportunities Workshop Oct. 17

Small-business owners will have an opportunity to learn about sources sought opportunities with federal contractors Thursday, Oct. 17.

Janean Forsyth will discuss the subject during a Wyoming APEX Accelerator "Lunch and Learn" webinar titled "Responding to Sources Sought Opportunities" from noon-1 p.m. To register, go here. Wyoming APEX Accelerator, part of the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network housed at the University of Wyoming, is the state's expert in government contracting assistance.

A sources sought notice is an early-stage opportunity that helps federal agencies conduct market research to identify possible vendors, especially small businesses, that have an interest and the resources to support a specific agency requirement.

During the webinar, small-business owners will learn about how government contractors decide which opportunities to pursue. The conversation will focus on how small-business owners can use their knowledge of market research; agencies' procurement policies; and small-business owners' capabilities to make informed decisions on whether to submit a bid.
