CONSTRUCTION ALERT: Oakwood Blvd between Beech St and Rotunda Dr

Beginning the week of June 24, 2024, Wayne County, MDOT, and Ford Motor Company began construction work on Oakwood Blvd from Beech St to Rotunda Drive. This project includes the placement of a new storm sewer, median strip construction, asphalt resurfacing, signal modernization, and pavement markings.

Drivers can expect Oakwood Blvd to be reduced to one lane in each direction, from Beech St to Rotunda Dr, throughout the project.

This project is expected to be ongoing in phases for approximately two years.
