Barnes & Thornburg has achieved Mansfield Certification Plus for 2023-2024, a significant recognition presented by Diversity Lab that underscores the firm's ongoing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion within the legal profession. The "plus" designation is reserved for firms that voluntarily report the progress and results of their inclusive processes.

This recognition reflects the firm's proactive efforts to ensure that all talent, regardless of background, has equal opportunities for advancement into leadership roles.

Mansfield certification is a structured, year-long process designed to broaden the talent pool considered for leadership positions, specifically ensuring that at least 30 percent of those candidates include historically underrepresented lawyers, such as women, underrepresented racial and ethnic lawyers, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities.
