New Product Lines, Annual Unit Volumes Added to Auto Care Demand Index

BETHESDA, Md. - August 5, 2024 - The Auto Care Association today announced the latest additions and enhancements to its Demand Index interactive industry data tool. The Demand Index provides sales performance data for dozens of product groups based on unit-level and dollar-level point of sale transaction data from a comprehensive list of retail and commercial distribution businesses. With just a few clicks, Demand Index users can view custom date ranges of data, overlay multiple categories, examine trends and export data to compare with their own business performance.

The latest update to the Demand Index tool, available through the Auto Care TrendLens™ platform, includes the introduction of new product group lines and the addition of new Annual Unit Volumes data for dozens of existing Demand Index product lines.

The four new product lines and Annual Unit Volumes (AUVs) added to Demand Index include:
