Dr. Deborah Noble-Triplett Named Provost, Vice President for Academic Affairs

Lindenwood University has named Dr. Deborah Noble-Triplett its next Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. With more than 25 years in higher education, Noble-Triplett has been committed to "transformation, impact, engagement and service".

"Dr. Noble-Triplett is a seasoned leader in academia whose passion for improvement will advance the work of Lindenwood University," President Dr. John Porter said. "Throughout the search and interview process, it was clear that Dr. Noble-Triplett will lean on her experiences as a faculty member and administrator to benefit our academics."

Noble-Triplett joins Lindenwood with previous experience as Senior Vice Provost, SACSCOC Institutional Accreditation Liaison, and Associate Professor in the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship at Virginia Commonwealth University. She spent several years with the University of Missouri System as an Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, Interim Director of University of Missouri South African Education Program (UMSAEP), Administrative Faculty Fellow, and an Assistant Professor of Human Resources and Organizational Behavior at University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Throughout her career, Noble-Triplett has secured several grants, contributed book chapters, and given many invited presentations and keynote addresses. In addition, she served on the advisory boards for the Institute for Contemporary Art at Virginia Commonwealth University and Missouri College Advising Corps.

Noble-Triplett earned a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University, and her master's and PhD from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mi. She will join the Lindenwood community in St. Charles starting February 17, 2025.
