President’s town hall series kicks off Oct. 22

Faculty, staff, and students are invited to participate in one of the seven town halls taking place this fall at campus locations across the state, beginning with WSU Pullman on Oct. 22 at 4 p.m.

In the final town halls of his presidency, President Schulz will reflect on the last eight years as chief executive of Washington State University and offer insights into current initiatives across the system.

At the conclusion of his remarks, President Schulz will be joined by Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration Leslie Brunelli, Spokane Chancellor and Executive Vice President of Health Sciences Daryll DeWald, and Provost and Executive Vice President Chris Riley-Tillman for a moderated Q+A session addressing live and pre-submitted questions from the WSU community.

The president and executive vice presidents are open to inquiries on a broad range of subjects which include but are not limited to:

  • Academic programs and curriculum
  • University finances and operations
  • Health sciences and statewide health science programmatic delivery
  • Cougar Athletics

The full schedule and form to submit questions ahead of time can be found on the Office of the President's website.

Individuals not affiliated with a specific campus are encouraged to join the virtual Extension or Global town halls. Those unable to attend the in-person town halls are encouraged to participate over Zoom.
