The newly established Part-time Faculty Teaching Excellence Award will annually honor one part-time faculty member at Marquette who demonstrates an outstanding commitment to student growth, development and welfare through effective teaching and student learning. This award acknowledges the vital role and exceptional contributions of part-time faculty in delivering high quality education at Marquette.

Winners will be recognized at the annual Père Marquette Dinner and receive a monetary prize.

All part-time faculty at Marquette who have taught at least five courses within the past five years (by January 2025) and are teaching in the 2024-25 academic year are eligible.

Nominations can be submitted by any faculty member (part-time or full-time) and presidents of Marquette University Student Government, the Graduate Student Organization, and registered student organizations and academic honor societies. Nominations are due Friday, Nov. 15.

See the Part-time Faculty Teaching Excellence Award webpage for criteria and to nominate.
