SCDOT implements lane closures on I-77 Northbound and Celanese Road in York County

Columbia, S.C. (October 14, 2024)-The South Carolina Department of Transportation has implemented temporary lane closures on I-77 northbound and Celanese Road in York County. These closures will allow crews to complete maintenance on the I-77 northbound bridge over Celanese Road.

A dual lane closure will be put in place for northbound traffic on I-77. SCDOT will implement single lane closures in both directions of Celanese Road. These closures will begin every Sunday at 8 p.m. and will end every Wednesday at 6 a.m. and are anticipated to continue until the end of October.
