Support Wanderlust: Help Send Veterans to D.C

[Findlay, OH - September 20, 2024] - .Wanderlust, the annual fundraising event to honor local Veterans, will take place Friday, October 25, 2024. Hosted by CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP), a top U.S. accounting firm, the event supports Flag City Honor Flight, raising funds to send Veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the war memorials built in their honor.

This event is the largest fundraiser for Flag City Honor Flight, which is a 100% volunteer-led organization. Every dollar raised directly funds trips for Veterans from World War II through Vietnam to Washington, D.C.

With more than 130 offices across the country, including in Maumee and Findlay, CLA has raised nearly $500,000 to date for Flag City Honor Flight.

"We are so proud to have established this benefit gala for Flag City Honor Flight in 2016. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of area businesses, particularly the Findlay business community, we have been able to pay the way for almost 500 Veterans to make the trip to Washington, D.C.," said Jaimee Weaver, CLA Western Ohio Managing Principal of Office. "We know we will have another amazing event this October, and our goal is to raise enough money to send many more Veterans to our nation's capital."
