🚨RATINGS CHANGE🚨: Cook Political Report Shifts IA-03 To Toss Up

Today, the non-partisan election forecaster Cook Political Report moved Iowa's 3rd Congressional District to a "Toss Up."

Cook Political Report : "Democrats' nominee, former USDA administrator Lanon Baccam, has also proven to be a strong fundraiser, raking in $1.7 million in the third quarter and outspending Nunn on the airwaves…Baccam's ads have damaged Nunn's brand, reminding voters of his previous support for an abortion ban without exceptions - a newly salient issue in the Hawkeye State, where a six-week abortion ban went into effect this summer."

Lanon has outraised Zach Nunn every single quarter he's been in the race. New polling shows Lanon leading Nunn 50-46 as voters are reminded of his extreme anti-abortion record.

Nunn voted for the near-identical version of the state's near-total abortion ban, voted for a constitutional amendment that would eliminate the right to an abortion in Iowa, and supported banning abortion nationwide with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman's life.
