Fargo Public Library to Host Event Highlighting Culture of the Philippines

The event will take place Saturday, October 5, at the downtown Main Library

In celebration of Filipino-American History Month, the North Dakota Asian-American Arts and Cultural Initiative presents "Know My Culture: Philippines" on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 4 p.m. at the downtown Main Library. This immersive cultural presentation is for all ages and includes some of the history of Filipino-American people, a showcase of cultural items, festival clothing, music and food. The North Dakota Asian-American Arts and Cultural Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2022. The organization creates programs designed to promote cultural exchange and foster civic engagement.

All Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public. Adults must accompany children ages 9 and younger.
