Road Closure Scheduled for Railroad Work in Mercer County

A section of Main Street (Route 3024) in the Borough of Fredonia, Mercer County will soon be temporarily closed to through traffic to allow for railroad repairs.

The roadway will be closed between Mill Street (Route 1002) and Second Street from October 14 to October 18, 2024, while CN Railroad Company works on the railroad crossing near the intersection with Third Street.

A detour will be posted using Main Street, Route 58, Penn Avenue (Route 2010), Route 19, and Mill Street.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
