Domestic Incident leads to arrest in Van Buren

On June 25, 2024, at about 6:00 p.m., State Police in SP North Syracuse responded to Railroad Street in the town of Van Buren for a domestic dispute. A preliminary investigation revealed that Caiden J. Kiteveles, age 21, from Warners, NY, arrived at the victim's residence with a long rifle and engaged in a verbal argument.

Kiteveles was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm (class "E" felony) and four counts of Criminal Possession Weapon 3rd degree (class "D" felony).

Kiteveles was transported to SP North Syracuse for processing and held at Onondaga County Justice Center pending arraignment.
